The Vapor NO2 vaporizer is the latest product from one of the most well-known names in vaporizers, Vapor. Just released in 2010, that uses a rechargeable battery pack that is conveniently stored within the unit itself, making it a fast and simple unit that's easy to take along anywhere.
Unlike some other portable vaporizers, the Vapor NO2 vaporizer operates in total silence, making it very discreet and stealthy. The unit has a very sleek and basic design that makes usage simple. There is a power switch on the side of the unit which is used to turn the NO2 on and off. In the center of the unit is a nice blue-lit LCD display which displays both temperature (in Celsius or Fahrenheit) and battery charge information. Below this screen are two grey buttons, which are used to adjust the temperature setting, and a larger red button which is used to start the heating process.
On the bottom of the unit is the cavity that the battery pack is inserted into. One of the coolest things about the NO2 is that you can use it on-the-go with the battery pack, or plug it into the wall when you're at home and enjoy vaporizing without worrying about remaining battery charge. This makes it a very dependable vaporizer since you don't always have to keep the battery charged in order to use it, but if the power goes out you'll still be able to enjoy vaporizing while you wait for it to be restored.
To use the NO2, the first thing you want to do is switch the power switch on the side of the unit to the on position. This will light up the screen on the front. Then, use the grey + and – buttons to select the desired temperature. While doing this you may notice that the NO2 has the ability to remember the last temperature used for vaporizing, so it's entirely possible you will not even need to set the temperature after the first use.
Press the red button below the temperature select buttons to begin the heating process. When you're using the NO2 in portable mode, it will take around 2 minutes to reach ideal vaporizing temperatures. When you are using the unit plugged into the wall, it takes somewhere closer to 1 minute. Either way, it is a very fast warm-up time.
When the NO2 no longer produces vapor, that means that your herbs have released all of their essential oils. Remove the mouthpiece and top cover and then dump the spent herb into the garbage.
